Unique destination
The municipality of Castell Platja d'Aro, with its approximately 10,000 inhabitants, consists of several smaller neighborhoods, S'Agaró, bordering south of Sant Feliu de Guixols and Castell d'Aro, which is the oldest village and has a medieval quarter. Playa de Aro offers visitors one of the longest sandy beaches on the Costa Brava and one of the few car-free beaches. Horse riding is also possible in the surrounding area.
There are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes on the traffic-free promenade of Playa de Aro, inviting you to relax and enjoy a cold drink or a snack. Of course you can also eat or dine here. At night, the boulevard is illuminated and in an attractive atmosphere, to end the night comfortably.
